case magnum 275
Hey guy,
I have a Magnum 275 and gone through 3 oil coolers in the last 3 weeks, keeps blowing out at the inlet at the top, tested the pressure it was doing 200psi... dont know if thats too high whats the recommended psi for an oil cooler?? Fairly urgent.

Cheers appreciate any help

The oil psi was 200? One would think it should be 25 t0 80! But I don't know!

G'day Kirky are you talking engine oil cooler or trans/hyd cooler? If it is engine then it is way too high 40-60 would be more like it if it is hyd cooler then it may be right, but I am used to seeing those coolers on a bypass circuit that usually top out at 30-40 psi there may be a regulating valve that is jammed. Sorry but I am not up with the system in your machine hopefully someone can pitch in or you get yourself a workshop manual on it.

Good luck

Jon
