Price Check Case IH dx33

Hi all, I am new to tractors and looking at a smaller model for my property
(a little greater than 2 acres). I would mostly be using this for rototiling, brushhog and moving stuff with the front end loader.

I found a Case Dx33 locally: 2003, 33HP, 4WD, HST, with front end loader for $15.5k. It looks clean, but I have not got a hold of the guy to run it, check hours and inspect it yet.

My questions..

-Does that seem a reasonable price?


-What are the thoughts about Case as a manufactuerer and the DX33 model in particular? Any concerns/considerations?


-Any opinions on whether this is too much tractor for such a small piece of property?

I bought a 2003 DX-33 last august with 600 hours on it. Il was very clean.

I have now over 700 hours and am very happy with it.

I have a 60" rotary cutter, 48" KK tiller, 60" box blade, 60" front snow blower and a 3203 Split-Fire log splitter.

All I had to do was replace the original battery, replace #2 fuse (before the new battery), and replace 2 blown out hyd hoses at the hyd cooler (behind the battery, in front of the radiator).
