Hi Everyone im thinking of buying a 1987 255 w/1000 hrs a 70a loader mfwd and turf tires is 7500 dollars a fair price ill use it mainly for pulling a brush hog and grading drive any help would be appreciated Rick

Great tractors. Made by Mitsubishi for CIH, about 24-25 HP, very dependable and you can run one all day on 3-4 gallons of diesel. $7500 sounds a little high to me. That said, I have seen asking prices in this range before on clean, low hour 254/255's. I love these tractors but I would have to pass at that price ( I'm also not particularly a fan of turf tires).
I look at a lot of tractors and run across quite a few similarly sized and equipped newer tractors for the same money. Unless you are needing something right now and just have to have this one, I would keep looking and hold out for a better deal.
