Sunday I stopped at a Case-IH dealer when a 1140 caught my eye. Since the dealer was closed, I don't have any idea what kind of price to expect. The unit was very clean, had HST, FEL and canopy with 700 hours on the meter.
According to TactorTips.com this model was only made for 1 year, 1991. New it sold for ~$14,000 for just the tractor. Does anyone own one? Know why they went out of production after just 1 year? Known problems?
The dealer is less than 50 miles from home but I'd like to know a little about it before I drive over to talk to them.
