case 630 caseomatic lifting capacity

Hi, i just had the loader on my case 630 worked on and it still does not lift anything "heavy". My issue is i need it to lift about 1500 lbs and so far the heaviest thing i picked up about 3" is a 55 gallon barrel of concrete. i was told this tractor should easily lift this much weight, is this correct? The place that worked on it said it has about 1400 lbs of preasure with a replaced hydraulic pump. Any ideas?

1400 psi of pressure does not mean much as you have to know the cyl bore size , and the angle the cyl is to the lift arm, and any other mechanical advantage.

You can do a test with 55 gal drums of water as each will weigh about 470 lbs.

Somewhere I read the weight of a 55 drum of concrete, and it was about 900 lbs.
