Never had a skid-steer but have a 300 acre farm that needs a lot of cleanup, fence row cleanup, new fences, couple of old buildings to take down and lot of brush to clear. I keep hearing that a case 1845c is a good low budget simple reliable machine. My questions, I want to get a hydraulic brush hog and maybe a hydraulic post hole digger. Will this machine run them? If so any brand/model recommendations
P.S. I put this question on the caseih forum but they wouldn't talk to me.

Will that model run a rotary cutter???

It all depends on how it was set up when new, some had the hydraulics to do it, and some didn't. It all depends on THAT individual machine...

Yes solid simple machine, still in high demand. Post hole digger YES probably up to 16". Not sure on the bush hog, might need high flow???

The standard Auxiliary hydraulics have a 16 GPM capacity. The High Flow system has a 30 GPM capacity. The High Flow has a separate pump and solenoid controlled system. The machine only has 55-60 HP so you should consider that when selecting attachments. There was a kit to add High Flow to a standard machine, but I bet it is pretty pricey.

The brush hog we use is rated for 15-25 GPM: Grace Manufacturing | Home of the Tree Terminator
