I have a mid 80s 1845B skid steer. Machine runs good and hydraulics are strong. It has aux hydraulics activated by a foot pedal, rear hydraulics operated by foot pedal when you pull a knob, and backhoe hydraulics (separate connectors) activated by pulling a knob as well. So my question is I’m looking to build a hydraulic driven bush hog for cutting tight areas. My research tells me I need a case drain which I do not have ( I don’t think ) would it be possible to add a case drain to loader arm so I could use my pedal or would I be better off hooking into the backhoe hydraulics and add a case drain there so I can pull a knob and it will stay on. I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Case drain does not go through valves it plumbs direct to the reservoir so use whichever power source works best for you

Thank you, I’m still learning about hydraulics as I go.
