Wasn't it nice plowing snow on Thanksgiving day? I finally got some quality seat time on my 790

Derek,

You also want to look at installing vents in your shed. I had one before for my Deere BR and there was a lot of moisture inside when I closed it up tight. It would suck the moisture right out of the ground to the point where the dirt was as dry as talcum powder.

It's not exactly air tight, but I do see some moisture build up inside these past days of 50 degrees plus, but that is something to consider. Have you put vents on one of these yet ? It does have space where the tarp hits the ground since it shrank a little over the years.

Plowing 3" of snow Thanksgiving day was great. It wasn't enough to justify taking off the BH and putting the huge snowblower on for a little snow, so I just curled the bucket up a little, put it in float position and drove up and down my driveway in high gear at prob. 6-8 mph. It was awesome ! Took me 1/2 hour to clean the driveway. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I don't have mine anymore but I know that most of the manufacturers have vent kits that you can install. I am keeping my Green machine in the barn for the winter and next spring I'm going to put an addition off the barn to accommodate the tractor and my pickup. Did you buy your Kioti in Maine, or does someone in NH sell them now. I looked at Kioti but did not want to pay sales tax.

I bought mine from Batchelder Sales on Route 202 in Lebanon Maine. There is a new Kioti dealer in Ossipee, NH about 10 mins North of my house, Route 16 Rent-all and Tractor Sales and the owner of the new store is the brother of the Maine store owner. No sales tax even though I bought it from the Maine store since I am a NH resident. I think Dick (the owner of the Maine store) said that it was his tractors at the NH store. So either store is available for parts and service, like one big family. It's great having a local store so much closer to me.
TillyB on here works at the Maine store, she can hook you up if your looking for a new Kioti. I highly recommend them, I know a few others here do too!

Well I bought the green machine last month from Shaws Ridge. I have owned green before and like the green product. It has something to do with brand loyalty. My family including uncles and grandfather have always bought Deere products. Dozers, backhoes, excavators etc. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
