Caroni Mowers

Looking for any current Caroni Mower owners to comment on the machines. Interested in both their finish mowers and their flail mowers advertised in the Agri Supply catalog.

I have been using a 5 ft Caroni finish mower for 3 yrs no problems at all with the mower. The cut is almost as good as my ZTR mower that I use for trimming . The blade's that are on it seem to hold there edge very well . The only thing that I notice is that the paint has faded a little over the 3 yrs but I think that's normal

I have a 'private labeled' Caroni.....marked as a WAC. When I bought the tractor, I got the mower with it. It was a year old at that time. I have had it an additional year.It is a 60" rear discharge. I have had no problems with it at all. The blades seem to hold an edge well as mentioned above. The grease zerks are where you can get to them easily.Cuts very smooth. I have noticed the last 2 times I was able to cut between raindrops that there was some oil on top of the gearbox but have no idea why yet.

Been beating a 60" Side Discharge RFM around for something like 8 or so years. Had to weld the wheel brackets onto the deck. Parts are quick to get. Darn near replaced it with another Caroni when I got the new tractor, but fell in love with a Landpride................chim
