caroni finish mower

Can anyone please give me pro's or cons about a 96" Caroni mower deck. Has new paint, blades, belts, not dented. 4-5 years old. Owner wants $900.00. Are the a good attachment? Is that a reasonable price? HELP, Thanx Pappee M

I've been using a 60" caroni 3 blade for the last 3 years. Leaves a decent cut and will chop some pretty thick stuff. I've used it to cut knee high weeded up pasture before. Tensioning the belt is a bit of a booger but its a good all around mower I'd say.

I sold them for several years. Never had a problem with any of them.
