Hello, anyone have any experience with the carlisle xtra grip or the tract cheif. Need to replace my titan r4 that are starting to split on sidewalls and have started to leak ballast. Really hard to find tires in the northeast and I can get these for a reasonable price. Looking to replace the rears with the xtra grip and the fronts with the trac chief both in 8 ply instead of the 6 the machine came with. these are going on a L4740 HSTC. Anyone have any thoughts. thanks Mike

All I can say is Carlisle makes the Titan and small Good Year branded tractor tires, and they all get cracks all over the sidewalls. Even my Carlisle atv tires. And my stuff is parked inside when not in use.
Carlisle is a very good company to deal with. One phone call and they sent me 4 brand new tires for my B2620. But the new tires got cracks split open all over them too, so I didn't bother replacing them. So far mine aren't leaking.
I was going to try another brand to see if any would last longer before they split open, but I got such a good deal buying rim and tire sets through Kubota whole goods, I ended up with them again.
