Cant find dip stick on L3300

I have a small hydraulic leak on my L3300 loader cylinder. I cant find the dipstick to check the hydraulic fluid. I see where the cap is buy theres nothing around it at all, just a cap where you fill it up on the back of the tractor. Is it hidden somewhere else? Is there a certain kind of fluid the kubota l3300 call for?

Some of the L series have a sight glass instead of a dipstick. Some of these are located at the rear, left of the PTO shaft; some are located at the left front of the transmission housing near the clutch pedal Not a Kubota guy, so I'm not exactly sure about the L3300. Sight glasses are a poor substitute for dipsticks IMHO, but that's besides the point. If you have a gear drive transmission any oil meeting Kubota's UDT spec will work fine; I prefer to use Super UDT or its equivalent in Glide Shifts or Hydrostatic Kubotas.

ON my B7800 it is located right near the floor between my legs in the cockpit.

Just sit on your tractor seat and then look down at the floor between your legs.

Stand behind your tractor and look to the left of the PTO. There is a sight glass on the transmission housing. If you don't see fluid, you need to add some more.

The little glass is half full on my l3300. Does anyone know if TSC sells the kind of hydraulic fluid that goes with my glideshift tranny? I dont want to even ask them theres no telling what they will tell me and I dont want to put the wrong thing in it.

If your on level ground then that's about where ya want it...from 1/2 to 3/4 level in sight glass.

Yes, Travllers Premium UTF, If you look it lists Kubota. They had it around 35 dollars for 5.5 gallons. KennyV.

Can anyone tell me how much hydraulic oil a L3300 gst holds . is transmission filled at rear above 3pt hitch My L3300 works only 3 minutes they it has no hydraulics . I let it sit 3mins it work for 3 more. the oil is clean, you can blow thru filter it seems clean. it acts like a pressure relief valve opens when it quits.
