can't find cogged v-belts for marangon disc mower

G'day most bearing supply companies also do a wide range of belts I would be surprised if they could not help you

If you have a number on the belt you might be able to cross reference it using something like Dayco or Gates catalogs. Any numbers? Google is your friend.

With the limited info provided I was able to find out it uses a spbx series metric v- belt. That being said you won't find them on the shelf at any auto or hardware store, a good industrial drive component supply should be able to get them but most likely a special order from Europe.
Best bet is going back to a dealer that supports the mower.

All in all it Looks like a decent mower, good luck with the search.

Just got in and checked replys. What we have is a marangon mdn 210 disk mower for hay use, It has 4 goodyear torque-flex spb 2900 mc v-belts with 2 damaged and the manual witch don't give a whole lot of info says to change all four, we ordered some from v-belts.com hoping they fit, We want to thank bnjodunn,simS winmac for the helpful information they gave, Thanks Have a good evening. old timer 77

Why do you need cogged v belts. Do belts have to go around a very small pulley? If not, std v belts will probably work better. A std belt will bulge more as it bends into a pulley. This improves traction/grip.
