This is my first post, so please be gentle, LOL.
I am finally ready to buy a new compact tractor, but I can not decide on the manufacturer. My choices are either a John Deere 2320 or a Kubota B7610HSD. Both machines will have the largest front-end loader available and both machines will have a 54 inch mid mount mower.
The best cash price quotes that I have received for the two machines are very close with the difference being less than $500. It looks like Kubota wins the financing competition because they offer 3 year/0% financing and John Deere only offers 2 year/0%.
I am asking for any information or opinions that will help me make the decision. Things that I am interested in are pros and cons of the operation of the loader, the mid mount mower, and the three point hitch system as well as just plain old tractor performance issues. Issues concerning parts or repairs would also be appreciated. I also noticed in the photo gallery section that some of you have owned both brands, so it would be interesting to hear what made you switch.
I have a lot of tractor experience, but most of it is with older and larger tractors. I rented the smallest Kubota (B7800) available for 4 days to do some work around the house, so I have been exposed to that brand.
