Thanks for info. This looks like what I need for my CK30. Hopefully, the shipping to Hawaii won't be a killer as I just shipped my container of stuff and already have too much airline luggage.

I wonder how difficult it would be to reverse mount for use when operating the backhoe?

The TuffTOP fits in its mounting bracket either way so when you are using your backhoe you can simply loosen the knobs, take the canopy off and turn it around.

sodamo,
If you end up getting a TuffTop canopy please post a picture if you can and tell us how you like it. I have been considering one for my CK25. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'd love to see a picture of one on a Kioti. Looks like a nice product. I like how easy it looks to remove it.
Thanks,
Phil

Thanks. That's sounds like what I was hoping to hear. Now I'll have to figure out the shipping times so it will arrive around 08/10. Didn't find a dealer link for Hawaii. Wonder what the TBN discount is?

Once I get one, I'll definitely post my impressions and pics. I'm sure it will be Kioti orange /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Has anyone tried one of these on a JD 4110 with a foldable ROPS? I haven't put a protractor to it, but it looks like the upper portion of the foldable ROPS leans forward more than 11 degrees past vertical.

Thanks,
Ira

Here's how a Tufftop canopy looks on my B7510HST.
I don't think it's on the TSC website, but you can find it on p. 215 of the latest TSC catalog ($265.60).
I ordered my canopy from the TSC store in Red Bluff CA and had it in my hands in 6 days.

Hi All, This is Chris Kamerer from TuffTOP. I just wanted to say thanks for the feedback I've gotten from these posts. I am asking anyone interested to give me some feedback about the TuffTOP - the product, the website, whatever. We are a very small, family owned business (my little brother is our shipping dept.) and it is very important for us to grow this product on a grass roots level. Tell us what you like about it and/or what you hate about it. Thanks in advance. The contact page on the website comes directly to me.

Hi Chris and welcome to TBN I sent you a PM but forgot to ask, do your tops have any kind of warranty and the plastic that is used in your manufacturing process will it slowly deteriorate over the years like a rubbermaid garbage can does, you know year one thru three pretty good then they start cracking and falling apart.

Steve, the plastic the panels are made out of is kind of a trade secret but it is the same plastic those orange crash barrels on the highway are made out of. The plastic has the different colored pigments mixed in with it along with a UV inhibitor that is supposed to protect the plastic from fading for at least 7 years (according to the plastic manufacturer). Usually, most consumer goods do not have UV inhibitors because they are not made to spend years in the sun, plus it adds to the cost significantly. TuffTOPs carry a one year warranty on parts and labor.

here is a picture of my tuftop canopy on my CK 30. I love it. It keeps the summer heat off of me even when useing the backhoe most of the time. It was very usefull when I dug my basement with YES MY CK 30. It was fun and gave me experience.
The only thing that I had missing was 1 rubber bumper that prevents the canopy from rubbing the metal frame. I let jon at Deprat equipment know about it and he said he would look into it. I've been really busy and I know jon has to so have not had time to get in touch with hime for an update on it yet.

You guys with TuffTop...
I need some lights on the Canopy for working into the evening. Do you think Tufftop can support lights with little vibration?

Blue... which size canopy is that?

I have mounted 2 lights on my TuffTop bracket between the top bracket and clamp on the front of the rollbar (using the carriage bolts) with some rubber washers and it works fine.

Chris,

Do you know which model TuffTOP TSC carries? The TSC catalog does not give model numbers or dimensions and the person in my local TSC store just looks at me like I've got 3 heads whenever I ask a question.

Back to the lights. I take it that the lights can be mounted to the tuffTOP mounting under existing bolts? This avoids any problems with the lights mounted to the canopy directly. Any picture available?

I like to know what I'm getting into before I make a purchase.

Thanks,
Rich

Tractor Supply carries the SC44 in white only for $255 (that's what I paid for mine) I wanted Red for my Mahindra 2015HST but decided to go ahead and get the white, the white looks fine on my tractor and the white is cooler.
I was digging about 400 ft of ditch with my backhoe this weekend and I thought I'd try turning the canopy around to keep the sun off me while I was running the hoe (my subframe mount Wallenstein hoe sets back quite a bit and has it's own seat, the TuffTop didn't set perfectly level but it worked fine turned around backwards and it only took a couple minutes to swap it.

I meant to take a couple pictures of the canopy this evening and forgot (again) I'll try to get some tomorrow.

I'm extremely happy with my TuffTop!

OK, took awhile, but I did get the XL-48 Tuff Top canopy and have it installed on my CK30.
Here's a look...
