thanks everyone for all the support. Today was "hump day". 17 out of 33 treatments done. Wife has joined me here at son & DILs house for the duration. The radiation has about closed my throat completely. I'm on a strictly liquid diet cause nothing else will go down. I tried watery oatmeal this a.m. and it stuck at the back of my throat. Took a full glass of water to wash it down. It is so much work just to swallow. Takes 45 minutes to get a small bowl of soup down. Anyway....over halfway....thanks again for the prayers and support....it does help.
Hang in there Mike, My wife, My Son and Myself have been through these treatments and are all survivors. My wife was Honorary Chairperson this year for the County Relay for Life. Our County's Relay for Life has raised over $800,000 to go toward Cancer cure, early diagnosis and better treatments. Ken Sweet

A friends wife has just completed a round of therapy including the mask, etc. Been about a month now. She had the difficulty swallowing but is back to real food now. So it will get better...hang in there and keep reading TBN...so you will be up to date when you grab more seat time.
