Can you move a pole barn?

I moved a barn for my |FIL last year with my forklift, will see if i can find a pic of it. Maybe you can rent one ofthese forklifts and do it yourself over a weekend. It was really pretty easy we made a spreaderbar to distribute the weight and picked it up through the center of the roof. We carried it across a pasture for about 500 yards to its new home. Going to look for pics.

Now that is impressive. Pole barns are light structures but that is still a lot of weight to hang out in front of that lift. What kind of capacities does that Gradall have? Did the shed stay pretty straight and plumb after moving?

I'm actually in the process of dismantling a 30x40 pole barn (well I removed about 100 nails so far ).. We're doing a complete tear down and will raise it on my property in the spring.. The hardest part is/will be removing the 1500+ nails that hold the siding/roofing down, the rest should be a breeze things we do to save over $10K
