Can you help me ID this box blade?

Came across this roll-over box blade on CraigsList for a fairly low price. Can anyone ID the make/manufacturer of this and give a recommendation on whether I should drive an hour to look at it?

64" Wide.

How much are they asking for it ? I'd say that's a vintage industrial FORD box blade . Not 100 % sure just trying to help You.

THANKS for the reply! I figured it was pretty vintage based on the arched 3 pt. attachment. That should still fit on a standard Cat-1 hitch though, right?

He's asking $300. Haven't talked to him on the phone yet, but did exchange an email this morning. Not sure how flexible the price is.

Looks like an old Gannon . Worth every bit of $300. It will work very well behind your 3520. :thumbsup:

Same style around here was $600 - and a little too far for me to drive (I don't have a trailer either).

$300? I'd jump at it.

I don't have it yet, but I just got off the phone with the guy. I'm going up tomorrow to look at it and most likely buy it. He is going to have it on a tractor so we can test it. As long as everything moves like it should, I'll get it. He's promised me that he won't sell it out from under me.

The blade is actually owned by a winery that this guy works at part time. He said that they bought it a few years ago and then decided to use something else instead.

Well, I picked it up! No free bottles of wine although I thought that the winery owner was going to throw one in. He said something about and then walked off and I never saw him again. Oh, well. LOL!

Overall, for what I think it's age is, it seems to be in pretty good shape. All the scarifiers are there and the cutting edges are in good shape. There is a bolt missing on the lever handle and the spring that pulls the bar back down into the tabs is broken. Any idea on where to pick up something for that?

I haven't looked closely, but I didn't see any zerks on it. Suggestions on lubing this thing would be appreciated.

Here's another pic. Now I just gotta figure out how to adapt it to work on my quick-hitch! Ideas?
