Locate a Woods dealer. They have access to all of the Gannon parts and may be able to source a spring that will work.

Take a look at the spring on the other side. Go to your local hardware store and get something there that will work. If you go to Woods, I can pretty much guarantee that you will speed 10 times what you will at the store. I made that mistake already, as far as the center spring on a hydraulic box blade. It was exactly 10 times the cost as the exact same spring at True Value.

Great purchase by the way.

I second that, I paid $260 plus shipping from AZ for my 48" Gannon new 2 years ago, and yours (hopefully) looks like it is definitely bigger, although it is certainly older, they are all but bullet proof. ?..and they are hard to find, I Know!

Congrats early.

Looks like an old Gannon . Worth every bit of $300. It will work very well behind your 3520.

To get mine to fit on the HF QH, I just had to reverse the lower pins, but what you will have to do is to back up to it and see what the fit looks like. Also, I used the Y-shaped top link I got from Agri-Supply...

Well, I picked it up! No free bottles of wine although I thought that the winery owner was going to throw one in. He said something about and then walked off and I never saw him again. Oh, well. LOL!

Overall, for what I think it's age is, it seems to be in pretty good shape. All the scarifiers are there and the cutting edges are in good shape. There is a bolt missing on the lever handle and the spring that pulls the bar back down into the tabs is broken. Any idea on where to pick up something for that?

I haven't looked closely, but I didn't see any zerks on it. Suggestions on lubing this thing would be appreciated.

Here's another pic. Now I just gotta figure out how to adapt it to work on my quick-hitch! Ideas?

A better question on the springs is how in the **** do you get them connected
