I've been trying to figure out exactly what Ford 711 one-arm loader will fit on my Ford 1968 2000 tractor. I have read all I can read on it, and know I need the "short box" style. I have seen manuals and instructions on line, and a bunch of photos. But I can't find any reference to the brackets. I've read where there are a few versions and if you have the wrong bracket, even if you have the correct loader, its not going to fit.

I started another post a few days ago and added some pictures there. There is a "long box" one arm loader on the Kansas City Craigslist site. He has a good photo of the brackets (below). There is another one on the Tractorhouse site and I think its the short box but it has cast looking brackets that I believe fit the older (800-900, etc.) tractors. I've added that picture but from what Ultradog MN says these might be the correct brackets

Its been frustrating. I have a Ford informational flyer that has my model tractor with the one arm on it. But nothing shows the bracketing or the brackets. A few of the posts I've found would probably have been helpful but the photos are blocked out by a Photobucket "place holder" so I can't see the brackets or connection points. I've emailed "Soundguy" but don't know if he's been around much. Don't see any real recent posts.

So, if anyone has a the time and inclination, I'd be grateful for whatever photos, guidance, and information you may have.

Thanks Loader Brackets.jpgModel 711 one-armed loader ad.jpgbrackets for loader.jpg

I replied to your pm yesterday. The brackets in your photo are for the early (1962-64 )4 cylinder 2000. Won't fit yours. The 'hip' bracket on the 3 cyl models and under tranny bracket/s are the same on all the 3 cyl tractors.
The front bracket is different depending on which model and year. They used different bolsters on the 2000s - early and late - light and heavy. My 68 2000 had the early/light bolster. Have photos of both types but need to get somewhere with wifi to get them.
I might know where there is the front bracket for an early bolster.

Thanks so much. I've got some issues with my home email/gmail going on. I'm glad you are available as I've read many of your threads. I would guess I have the light, early, 3 cyl 2000. I know its a 1968. Its the one I'm driving in the avatar. Any info I can provide to help you help me I'm happy to get. I've added a second photo of a different set of brackets And I've added a photo of the tractor I have

Need a picture of the bolster to be sure but you probably have the light one. That must be an early 68 as it still has the old style tin. They changed the tin in April of 68. Mine was a smooth hood.
Photos show both style bolsters. The one with the axle attached is the light/ early one. I may know where the front bracket is for that. Those are very hard to find and a must have to mount the loader.100_0428.JPG

By the way,
Your tractor is a British built model judging by the wide foot boards and Brit fenders. Could be Belgium too, cant tell.

I've emailed "Soundguy" but don't know if he's been around much. Don't see any real recent posts.
He replied to a PM from me the other day, sounded like he was sick and it was taking a while to get back to 100%.

Here's my tractor's bolster. I ran the number and it looks like they call this the "early" version (65-70) and the other one the "later version" (70-on) on the order form. So I think I have the light version.

Anyway, now that I have that sorted out, I need to figure out the correct brackets. bolster serial.jpgtractor front lower.jpgtractor left front.jpg

Re: Soundguy's absence. Thanks for that info. I don't know him, of course, but I've read so many of his posts that I feel I do. He's always good to help and share. As is Ultradog. Both have a lot of experience with these loaders. Now, if one or the other can just send me one.....

P.S. On one of his posts, Soundguy said: "the 3 cyl brackets are hard to find, especially the LCG models." I think that mean low center of gravity How does one tell that I have the adjustable front end I assume mine is a "row crop" which is sometimes raised in discussing the proper brackets.
