I'm in the process of mounting my JD 47" front mount snowblower to my new 2520. The snowblower came off of my old JD 4100.
I purchased a new driveshaft from JD to mate my 2520 with the snowblower which fits perfectly. However, my existing hydraulic hoses from my snowblower are too short to reach the hose connections on the 2520 tractor which are considerably further back than on my old 4100.
Is there any reason I can't just have short hydraulic hose extensions with male fittings on each end made in the lengths I need for each of the four hoses to fit my 2520? I would then just use a 1/4" coupler to connect them.
Thanks for any help.
