Can I put a dryer vent duct under a concrete slab?

Every elbow is equal to 10' straight run, possibly more. Shortest length possible, otherwise you are killing the dryer's efficiency.

If it makes any difference, I didn't run the duct under the slab, and instead it runs straight out of the back of the dryer, through a closet (I put a shelf over the ductwork) and out the wall. We used to have the dryer upstairs and it had to go through about 15' of pipe plus one elbow to get out. Now that it's a straight shot, it does dry the clothes much more efficiently.

Good luck and take care.
