Just use a shop vac, you would have to have the tractor at a 45 degree angle to keep the fluid from coming out.What about jacking up the filter side to cause the fluid to flow away from it? Less likely for it to flow uphill out the port, no?
Also, there is a small bracket that looks to be a protector shield for the filter. Appears to come off with one bolt, maybe two. Correct?
I'm not keen on taking the tire off since it's filled and quite heavy.
