Some pics taken over the weekend. More to follow. Top is the parking area and I now wish I'd have doubled the roof supports in the cargo trailer. We'll try get if shoveled off over the Christmas weekend. We found the cargo trailer locks frozen again and will add rubber flaps to them next summer. Should have done, should have done and more things, I should have done.......

Moose hair found on the trail while skiing. Strange thick stuff and like wire. A dog brought it back. Trail cam and what it will see, but its view will be higher than this. The logging path we use to get in can be seen at the bottom.

I hear you on the cargo trailer challenges. I doubled up the roof rafters on mine because the annual snow loads were causing it to sag. It looks like your roof is flat? Mine is, and at one point I was considering trading for a different trailer with a bit of a dome shape in the roof, thinking it would shed better plus have a stronger structure with more of an arch. But instead I just sistered flat plate bars to the rafters. That seems to be holding up well.

And I struggle with locks getting frozen as well. I like the flap idea and will try that.

Its slightly dome shaped and looking at its construction, looked like one could add them between the current rafters and doubling the number. I did email Pace asking about there availability and parts # and never heard back.

At camp tonight and gathered some firewood after we got here this morning. Mild temperatures at about 26 or so, with no wind. Did not see any new moose tracks this time. . Just a bit of light left in the west and we are sipping good wine enjoying the fire. Hope everyone's Christmas eve is as nice as we are having.

Snow load codes up that way are something like 70psf. I think we are 20 near the Twin Cities.

Got home late today and today we got the trailer roof cleared, drive past trailer are plowed and 6x6 parked inside. Below are pics.

Yes, the local trees had came down on it.
Got smart and added a stump to the rear to keep the tongue from coming up when loading the 6x6.
The snow next to the trailer was left b our hired snow plow guys which had crimped our "get by" space.
There was 4" of clearance with the blade so we rotated it.
