Your drawbar is supposed to be long and or adjustable, its for pulling hay balers and non-three point implements like heavier brush hoggs, and hay cutters, you want it long to keep the implement away from your rear wheels when you turn and farther out from the three point. And you can off-set the draw bar to off set your implement to pull on one side more, thats where you really need the full length of the draw bar. Anyway its what works for you and your tractor, good luck.:)

But it got me to thinking I should paint some of my tools a bright colour. I often find myself hunting for my green log lifter, or a chain, or shovel, etc., after I carefully set them near tree or shrub where I'm sure it will be easy to find. I am going to paint the chain hooks and some other tools bright orange.

Kco,
After misplacing my ax and machete one too many times in leaves, I painted the metal parts Krylon Pasadena Pink. It is one of those florescent glow shades. Never "lost" them since.

When I buy new Snap On tools, I try to buy only orange or pink handles. None of the guys buy these colors. Just a little easier to identify.

Never thought of painting the chain hooks. Thanks! I lose the chain I leave on the loader bucket often while working brush and feeding the burn pile.
hugs, Brandi

Hey, I had to prove to 'some people' that I do own red paint [ and use it ]. They had that Missouri State Fair pink Mahindra on Ebay a few days ago.... don't know if it sold or not.

Every X amount of years, when I am really bored, I hook all my chains end to end, and stretch them between a big tree and my tractor boom pole. Buy a few cans of RED spray paint and paint away. Looks purty for a few years..... and impresses the neighbors that I own that much grade 70 chain :) [ my trees are so tall and so thick that I have to pull/direct their decent when I cut them so not to wipe out others. ]

Do a search on Susan B. Komen Mahindra...and you will come up with the one they had painted pink for the 2011 Missouri State fair for charity.... They just had it for sale on Ebay a few days ago.. AND... a bonus picture I just came across of another Mahindra.... :)

Now he is drilling holes in the dash... Mounted a push/pull switch next to the Hazzard rocker so he could control a class one beacon up on the ROPS... and a smaller push/pull below the PTO selector and above the key switch to turn the grid heaters off in the summer.... [ and I have heard rumors of holes being drilled in a few days for super bright RED leds that will be mounted in the dash to keep the idiot driver from driving around with his brakes on....he is old/senile...and doesn't seem to notice the stock brake light indicator ] WHEN WILL IT EVER END...!!!!!!

[ professional driver, closed course.... kids, don't try this at home... any and all modifications may void your warrantee, etc.... ]
