I've been unable locate a FEL for my JD 955 at a price I'm will to pay or can afford. Seems the JD model 70A for my tractor are quite hard to find for sale by itself (separate from a tractor) and when I do come across one, the command a premium price. I guess I'll just have to make one, so I search around a bit and settled on the CADLoader model 1007 and the plans are on their way.
After talking with John at CADPlans, the mounting setup for the 1007 is not a "self-loading" or "quick attach" design. I will have to modify the mounting system to make it "self-loading". I've studying the mounting system for the 70A and I'm sure I can come up with something similar to make it a "drive-in" mounting system.
However, I would like to see some pictures of other makes, styles and models of FEL mounting systems to give me some other ideas. If you have a drive-in mounting loader, I'd appreciate it if you post up some pictures.
