Cab swap...

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has successfully taken a cab from one brand of tractor and modified it to fit yours? I have a New Holland 1620 and I'm needing a cab. I found one off a large John deere lawn tractor, looks like it would fit with a little modification. Any experiences or opinions are appreciated. The first pic is what I have now and it's terrible at best. The rest are of the cab I'm looking at.

I recently swapped a cab from an F series mower to my MX5100, Not a pretty sight, but its functional. Took about 50 hours to refab to fit, mounted on rubber , to loader frame and ROPS mount.
I now call it frankenbota!

Yup, fun is the word I use for most projects. Forgot to mention, that this cab is tall enough for me to stand up in, almost 6 ft clearance. I couldn't pass it up at $450.00 complete with heater, defrost, lights and wiper. Good glass too.

That's a deal! The guy selling the cab I'm looking at said he'd take $300 so I thought it was a decent deal. Now just have to drive the 3.5hrs one way to pick it up. Ah well.... I driven further for less. Lol
