Cab prices

Mike311,

I have been pricing a 3520 for a couple of weeks now. Thanks for posting this. My 1993 755 has been fine for giving me good work. I would have replaced it with a cabbed compact tractor if John deere had offered one. Now they do.

To me $6000 to $6500 for a cab is well worth it. I'm getting older and you have to watch out for the UV light, dust, heat stroke, West Nile virus, Lyme disease, etc.

I guess I am kind tee'd off that these models were shown on the UK/Ireland site and not here first.

I already called my dealer my dealer for delivery next spring.

The cab prices are only on the 3000 twenty series models. I guess the Deere engines in the 4000 twenty series are a lot higher and they figure we'll have sticker shock! LOL!

Tractorguy56,

They must be updating the site and haven't got around to the 4020s or the 2020s.

I guess I need a little help with 3520. When JD says "stocker package", what do they mean, no options from factory, talk to the dealer about optional accessories like tires? That's what I think it means.

Kude, I wouldn't be angry about the cabs being shown on the Ireland/UK site first. They aren't the same cab. It appears that the UK cab is made in Europe by Walter Mauser. If you compare the pictures from the Mauser and John Deere Ireland/UK site, they are the same. And they both look different than the new cab on the John Deere web site. Also, I see that the same Walter Mauser cab was offered on 4000 Ten series tractors.

It looks to me like maybe John Deere's UK office may have arranged that cab for their customers.

Kude - you are correct in your assumption on the cab packages. Deere is going to configure several packages and it is supposed to simplify ordering and selection of your specific needs. I was quoted a price of 29600.00 on a 4720 cab and air without a loader by a friend who owns a local Deere store. This was a very early quote and we should have more info very soon as the Deere dealers meeting is next week I believe. When I hear more info I will pass it on.

RoderH,

You're absolutely right about the cabs being different, Someone on the forum posted the link to that site. Now we got our factss right. Thanks.

Tractorguy56,

From what I gathered, looking at required items for the cab were Ehydro, mid mount PTO and hydraulics for mid and rear (mid DSCV single rear SCV). Also ordering an air ride seat, the suspension only is supplied for use with the factory cab seat. This all makes sense because the tractor can now be used year round. Might as well get a snowblower too.

I was quoted a MSRP $34,768.00 for a 4720 with cab, $44,344.00 with 400CX (4-in1 bucket), and MX-6 mower and a few other trinkets.

Again, these are list prices.

Wonder why JD is restricting the cab versions to e-hydro transmissions only? Has anyone heard of a reason for this?
