Cab Models with Factory Remotes

Does anyone know if the B3030 and the Grand L models can be ordered with Factory remotes?

Where are they mounted if there is no ROPS?

Would like to see pics of remotes with Cab models if anyone has them.

Here is one of my old posts with pics of the control inside the cab. I don't currently have a pic of the actual remotes themselves but they are located under the right rear corner of the cab above the 3 pt and very easy to access.

Odd. I was told up here that the cab models of the Grand L come standard with one set of remotes. Is this not true?

In the US, that is not true. Grand L cab or no cab is standard with no remotes.

In Canada the Grand L comes standard with 2 sets of remotes. Both my 5030 and 5740 came this way. The funny thing is the pictures in the brouchre show no remotes.

As an owner of a 5030 and a 5740, how would you compare them?

Both tractors are used for snow removal. Even with all the upgrades I prefer my 5030. The 5740 has a nicer cab, more power, faster ground speed but I like the feel of my 5030. My wife uses the 5740 most of the time and she likes it. If I spent more time driving the 5740 maybe I would like it better.

What is it about the 5030 you like better? My tractor is split between lots of snow clearing in winter, and general ranch duties in the summer.

I have been thinking of the additional power and efficiency of the turbo as well; I may not be losing much at 3500 feet, but sometimes in big snow, I need every pony.

Wait a second... you've got both a 5030 and a 5740 - concurrently? i.e. you didn't trade in the 5030 for the 5740? That sounds like a blast!

Who is your dealer up in Barrie and are you happy with them?

It is hard to explain but the 5030 is just plain and simple to operate. Like I said maybe if I spent more time in the 5740 I would get use to the contols. The placement of the controls in the 5030 just seem more natural to me. It could also be that I have a wider snowblower on the 5740 so I have to be a bit more careful around parked cars and with blower has a larger chute that blocks my rear vision compared to the small blower.

The parked cars...okay I get it. Round these parts there are not many cars, and the cows and elk, well if they don't move, they wind up parked...in the freezer.

What I am interpreting is that it seems like a larger envelope, but its not a negative if the operating environment is not a concern?

It is a long story but my dealer is Eastern Ontario(Ottawa area). I didn't trade the 5030 in becasue I need both tractors. I know Queensville, my buddy lives in Sharon just south of you.

Have a L4630GSTC and it came with 2 remotes. As I was told was in Canada that the only thing on the option list not included was the radio. The rest is standard equiment here.
