I never indicated, or meant to infer, that Kioti does not care; was just relaying what I was told by the dealer. Thus far, this is indeed a dealer issue, and the patience has come about because I try to give the dealer the benefit of the doubt. The four phone calls were in the midst of or perhaps very shortly after a buy out, so I had to extend my patience a little (at least I thought that would be the right thing to do). I think that at this point in time the dealer has failed, the next steps is when I get to find out whether or not Kioti cares.

Who said kioti doesn’t care about their customers. Kioti took care of my minor issues while under warranty, but it HAD to go thru the dealer. I run into same thing with generators. A customer calls because their new generator isn’t working and their installer says GENERAC won’t repair it. I get it repaired and paid thru GENERAC. It’s the dealer that doesn’t follow thru, not the manufacturer.

that is the problem, if Kioti won't support their dealers properly, the customer is out.. and btw, Generac is a different company then Kioti. also, how about Samsung, also based in South Korea, who will just ignore even Electrical Engineers, if they have questions?. they want you to go through a few levels of sales support first!. I never did have luck trying to contact Japanese Manufacturers either, though, they just ignored me!!.:shocked:

Again, I have had good luck with Samsung. My s8 phone had a dead screen after I updated it. Phone was 4 years old. I contacted them and explained what happened, and they paid for shipping to them. They replaced screen, motherboard and battery and mailed it back....for free.

My experience with kioti has always been good. I think it’s the dealer not doing it right.

The filters need just a severe cleaning service. I'm not kidding; you may contact aircon service Aircon Servicing Singapore, Cleaning & Repair at Cheap and Affordable Price for any pieces of advice and for helping you with your problem. Do not do anything by yourself if you are not sure. Every AC needs an individual approach. I know these guys; they are doing an excellent job for their price. I have asthma, so my Ac supposed to be cleaned regularly, also deodorized, and purified.
