Tractor
FarmPro 2425
I picked up a Farm Pro 2425 a few years ago in need of repair that came with a rear snowblower attachment. I live on the east coast of Newfoundland, our winters consist of predominately wet snow fall with high winds. I liked the snowblower, but not the open cockpit!

I decided to attempt making a cab using some stock I had for the frame (much heaver than needed, but I already had it) then shaping metal I sourced from roof panels of a school bus, in cooperating the canopy already on the tractor. I used the sliding windows, also from the bus, for the sides & had a local auto glass guy make the windshields for the front & rear. Got a Chinese diesel heater in it and life is a lot more comfortable cleaning up the snow.

I saw some other posts here with versions of their diy cabs, hopefully my attempt will help with ideas for anyone thinking of doing the same.

Oh wow, you've got all the features in that cab minus a radio! That's one heck of a home built cab, extremely nice. That you've got that skill is awesome.

Thank you for that!

Great post, thanks! I also configured a "ROPS", removed from an old John Deere, destined for the torch and recycling and made it fit a Case 580G. We don't have snow in my part of the world, it is mostly hot and sometimes rainy, hence my concoction. I also tried to keep the weight down as much as possible, because for our uneven terrain, the TLB sometime feel unsteady and top-heavy, which I ascribe to the backhoe. All-in-all, it pales in comparison with your superior build!
