Aside from costing more... is there any other downside to CARB compliant equipment?
I'm thinking shorter service life, additional maintenance, unproven technology, hard to get parts???
CARB is the acronym for California Air Resources Board which seems to govern just about anything with a internal combustion motor sold in California.
