Sorry, tried searching, but to no avail. For a while now, the tractor has occasionally not cranked without moving the gear lever in and out of low and high a few times and then returning to neutral. However, today, no amount of fiddling will allow it to crank. (Started and ran fine for 30 min. Shut down for 10 min, then would not crank.) I believe there is some sort of switch to prevent cranking when in gear. I have heard of bypassing it.

Can someone please help with where the switch is located and how to bypass it?

THANKS!

I don't have the 22 but the 2200
I had the same problem. I was able to fix it when I followed that shift level down to the neutral switch and found dirt and debris by the button that prevented from moving when moving that lever.

DSC_5878.jpg I wasn't home earlier to get pic. Sorry didn't take pic after I cleaned it. If you look in that area and move that lever you'll see the switch. Dan.
