I was just curious if anyone who ordered Piranha blade had issues with communication with the company? I ordered a blade on 9/21 and have not received the blade as of 10/28. Right after I ordered the blade I never got a conformation that it was even ordered. I emailed them and got a response saying it would take 4-6 weeks and after 10/21 they would have a firmer ship date. Since 10/21 I have emailed them 3 times and have not heard back from them. I know they said 4-6 weeks and even though I personally think that seems like plenty of time, they could at least keep in contact with me as to the progress. Is this a small one man company? In the back of my mind I am wondering if I have been had...

I can't speak first hand since I haven't dealt with them directly, but have read several similar threads in the past. My take is this... It's a small company with few employees and they don't have the people to keep up with communications when they have spikes in demand. They sometimes have supply issues too, due to high demands. I don't know of anyone who didn't eventually receive their order, but there have been some long delays. I only post this because I have one of their tooth bars that I bought used, and couldn't be happier with it. It will be worth your wait.

If IIRC, BXpanded has has similar communication problems reported on TBN. Ultimately the product does come and is good quality.....IIRC
Thanks for the replies. The reviews have been great about the toothbar. Not knowing them I was a little nervous that I was told to wait 6 weeks after paying them then no communication. I will give them more time, but a quick reply from them would serve them well. I know the whole Covid deal is going on but others seem to be performing ok.

I remember mine took a while during this spring early summer time period. It took longer than the original eta but did come in great shape.

I know you are anxious to get yours. I love mine. I would assume the company focuses on orders . Once they told you 4-6 weeks, I assume they read follow up emails as "are we there yet" .

BXpanded is a local company and made a custom weld on toothbar for my bucket. Not really a direct sales company but took the time to understand my needs. Their shop was busy. They make a great custom made products that are often in high demand. You will be amazed how the much your digging and brush clearing performance improves.
