Bx5450 new install any tips tricks?

Have to put together everything including mid mount, how hard is it and any tips or tricks? Everything new in box

I bought the older blower last fall but put together in 1 evening, pretty straight forward. A wood dollie for the blower helped to install/unistall easier, the ones-lowes,menards or harbor freight sells.

Check the auger gearbox for lube.

I agree that the furniture moving dollies are a great thing to use. I keep my Ratchet rake, snow plow, mid-mount, and blower on them. Makes it a lot easier to install as I cannot get my tractor into my garage but with the dollies I can roll the equipment to tractor and install. I also can move the blower into my shop to melt the ice after using it. Remember to get extra shear bolts for both the auger and the impeller as well as a small drift pin for driving the broken pieces from the shaft. If your blower has a chain drive get bar oil or other chain lube for lubing every 10 hours or so.

Thanks for for replies, so far I got the mount put together and will be cracking open the blower which is still in crate hopefully sat am, I'm assuming there is no chain but have not looked yet.
