I've searched for hours but can't find anything about the red button that is behind the 3 point top link mounting. Sorry, no camera. What's it do? I'm afraid to push it without knowing.:confused2:

When I bought my BX2200 in 2001, I wondered the same thing. My dealer said it was a vent for the hydraulic reservoir.

It's supposed to have a label that reads:

"Press to Test, Release to Detonate"

Use extreme caution...

So why would one want to vent the hydraulics? And thanks. That finger pokin', button pushin' can get one into trouble....maybe even married.:D

:)Thanks, Thavil. That was the Motherload of red button information. I haven't blown the stick yet but think I'll put an idiot cord on it anyway and leave the red button (vent) alone.
