hello,

I need help on finding and checking the glow plug control on my tractor.

Any help would be appreciated!

First did you run it out of fuel ? is there water in the fuel ? did you just change the filters ? I have a bx 24 and it starts with out hitting the glow plugs .

I doubt that the air temperature in Texas is anywhere near needing glow plugs at this time of year. If it turns over but refuses to start I would suspect as stated above that the 1st thing to look at is fuel delivery.

How about a faulty fuel shut off solenoid?

On my RTV 900, which I'm pretty sure uses the same engine, it seems the solenoid is normally open. When I shut the machine off you can hear the fuel solenoid clicking over (to open) about five seconds after shut down. If your solenoid failed to open after you shut it off last time you have no fuel.

Turn the key on and crank it and then turn it back off, if you don't hear a click shortly thereafter you might have a faulty solenoid.
