I need opinions on rops lighting for my BX25. The brightest is what I'm going for.
This is what I installed on my tractor. It is Grote led light and they are bright but also fairly expensive. The way I mounted them they turn forward or backwards.

Now that's what I'm looking for. How many watts are each light? Where did you purchase your them? Did you fab the mounting brackets?

Here is a link for the lights. Trilliant Cube 2500
I purchased these from a local parts store I deal with thru work. I made the mounting brackets and also on the brackets I drilled a 1/2" all metal locknut and welded it inside the bracket and ran the wire thru the hole so I could rotate the light with out having the wires get in the way.

They are the flood model
For mine, I went with flood over a spot light as I wanted more "area" light than I did far away light. I'm not going that fast on the tractor, so I would rather see a wider area than farther away. If I'm going fast enough to need to see down the road that far.......I must have turbo'd, put propane and methanol injection on my tractor. LOL
Did you have a reason for choosing a flood over a wide flood model? I'm unsure which way to go.
I just looked at the beam pattern on the pdf on the Grote web site and thought the flood model gave me more light down range. I would go to the web site down load the pdf and see what pattern you like best. http://www.grote.com/America/pdfs/trilliant-cube-2500.pdf
I picked 2 pair of Rigid Industries "Dually D2's". They are super...,.super bright LED lights. Very small and compact and built like a tank. All aluminum housing.
Yes... they are expensive. Here is a link to a pair on Amazon fro $300/pair. But well worth it in my opinion.

Do a google search and you will find hundreds of great reviews. They are also several youtube videos of them in action.
Since they are LED's, they draw very little wattage for the light they put out.
I got the "Driving" lights as they are a hybrid between a sport and flood light pattern.
I can't wait to use them this Winter for some Snow removal.
Thank's for the info. I actually ordered a set of these after reading your post.
