BX24 Starting Problem

I just got this used tractor and I do not have a manual for it. I have ordered a manual.



I have run the tractor several times, with no problem. Today I started it and drove it around to a spot to pick up some stuff. When I went to get off, the engine quit. I am guessing I did not have some lever set correctly, or there is an interlock switch on the seat. However when I get back on and sit down, the tractor will not crank.

Any help?

To the left of your seat is the PTO lever. I bet that you touched it with your hip when you got off the tractor, I do sometimes. Move the lever down and back up and try starting your tractor again.

If that doesn't do it, move your hydro pedal and find neutral and try restarting.
