BX24 rubber lever covers

Is it me or do these things come flying off with the least bit of gripping them to hard....it's happened to me a few times where I'm moving levers then pop off it comes and I have to stop the tractor and get off to retrieve the darn thing.

Maybe a little glue is necessary....

I had to glue one of mine, I'm sure the rest aren't far behind.

There was a previous thread about what the guys were using. I just put a little squirt of silicone caulking.

Do what the golf pro's do - some of the thin double sided carpet tape on the clean shaft... douse with alcohol... slide the grip back on. When the alcohol evaporated the full stick of the tape returns.

fishpick gave me his tip quite a while ago and I secured them all using his recommended technique. I used very thin carpet tape. So far it has worked great.
