Rick,

Went to your website to peek around. Although this is slightly off the subject, I'd thought I'd ask here (instead of a PM) in case others wanted to know.

Your price on your site for the GC2310 is $16950. Is that a MSRP?

What is the difference between "Add one" or "Buy one?" (didn't create an account)

MSRP on a GC2310 is 19,303.00 with R-4 tires. Add one or buy one should put a tractor in a basket, and ask for your info to proceed with the sale.

We do ship around the country, and our trucks travel far and wide.

WOW! Never expected a $2634 MSRP price difference between a 2310 & a BX24. Gotta go compare the specs for sure!

Thank you for the website explanation, but I gotta ask....

if both buttons do the same thing, why have both?

At this point in the product cyle the BX and GC2310 should be withing $1000 dollars of each other. I ended up buying a GC2310 over the Bota and love it, but wish it was heavier, FWIW it's heavier than a BX

My price checking says it's not there yet.

I have found that on the street, you can usually buy a CG2310 for the same price you can buy a BX24. So far, I haven't been able to come close on the implements, however, and unfortunately that takes the CG series out of contention for me. I see no reason for $1000 difference in mower decks, or front mounted snowblowers when some of them come out of the same factory. With the economy a little slow this year, it will be interesting to see how well some of this overpriced stuff moves.

After a quick comparison of the 2310/24 specs, most appear very close. The most notable differences that I saw were....

2310 - about 950 lbs. heavier (never expected that much difference)
2310 - backhoe swing arc is only 140 deg. (BX = 180)
2310 - greater 3 pt lift capacity (~200 lb)

I'm sure there were others I missed 'cause I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.....

Bucky4,
Be careful with your specification reading. The CG2310 weight includes the backhoe, and loader because it is sold as a unit, the weight on the Kubota does not. They are actually very close in weight, and perhaps the Kubota is a 100 lbs heavier. It is the bucket rotation ( opening, closing) that is 180 degrees, the boom swing on both is 140 degrees. The three point hitch capacity is given at the hitch points for the CG2310, but 24" behind that point.... where the implement actually is on the Kubota.

Unfortunately, manufacturers play these games with the specs to create just this kind of confusion. Kubota even does it between products in their own lines. Three loaders in the same chart will have capacities given at different points for example. It is a disservice to their customers.
