In addition to the above, the hydraulics work at idle and less noisy hydrostat on the later 25 series. Definatly test the hydraulics @ idle and higher, and drive both, switching between forward and reverse. This way you absolutely know what you are getting and won't have any complaints. Personally I would like the 25 better but depending on the actual units that you are looking at and the price point of the deal you might be also happy with the 24.

Certain BX models and some B models of the recent past had HST's that were rather abrupt to stop, shall we say. The current models roll a bit to a stop. Most, it seems, prefer the rolling stop rather than the abrupt stop.

If I have the loader and the hoe attached to my 24, and in hi range in reverse, lifting my foot all the way off the pedal can cause the front wheels to come off the ground. Kinda fun
