Recently rented a knock-off version of a 5' York Rake attached via 3-point hitch and was less than satisfied with the results, i.e. the rake "rode" the soil rather than digging in 1"-2" as claimed.
Mentioned same during a visit to my dealer to perform some window shopping for an aerator, dethatcher, etc. and was astounded to be informed that many of the "estate series" products offered by Woods Equipment and Land Pride are simply too heavy to function effectively behind a BX2350. Instead, it was suggested I consider products from Brinley, Agri-Fab, etc. Not exactly what I had in mind. Left unanswered by the salesguy was the simple question-"How heavy is "too heavy?" My concern is that I have a $16K lawn mower, snow blower and FEL-and not much else.
A different dealer in this area has a radio spot mentioning the "hundreds of tools and implements" that can be used with a BX2350-but this dealer carries next to nothing in stock so comparison is near impossible.
OK, BX2350 owners-the advice, info and comments on TBN are the best guide. What implements (and Model #s)/attachments have you purchased, borrowed or rented which are particularly effective on a BX2350?
