are you able to operate both raising of the loader and dumping of the bucket at the same time or do you have to do them one after the other?

thanks

Both at same time.

Pulling straight back on the joystick should raise the bucket

pulling back and to the right raises and dumps

pulling back and to the left raises and curls back the bucket

Pushing ahead should lower the lbucket

Pushing ahead and to the right should lower and dump bucket

Pushing ahead and to the left lowers and curls the bucket

Pushing fully forward past the detent puts the loader in float. When in this mode left or right movement of the joystick will curl the bucket up or down.

Your loader may have a sticker showing how this works.

The left and right may be reversed according to the hoze hook up.

Mine doesn't like that too much. Unfortunate since it is an all-too-common movement, but it simply takes too much pressure to extend all the hydraulics simultaneously. I can only get max lift or max curl pressure when I am doing one at a time.

On my BX2200 the manual specifically says it is not recommended to pull back and left due to insufficient lift force. And they're right, it doesn't work worth a darn. I've had no problem with back and right (lift and dump) though.

The flow rate and pressures of the hydraulic system on the BX tractors doesn't provide enough to do this movement, so they don't advise you do so. You won't do any harm, but it is like watching a snail move when you do so. Faster to do one movement at a time.

I agree. You can do both at the same time but it is much slower. And if you are picking up dirt with the FEL it will not allow you to do both at the same time. It simply slows down to a dead stop.

Even though the joystick goes in 4 directions. North, South, East and West. If you go Northwest, Southeast ect... the loader will do both at the same time as mentioned.
