Trade in on the BX23 seems kinda low. Even considering that you don't have an MMM (didn't see it listed in your bio).
With taxes included it looks like your getting much less than $10k for the BX23. Do you have alot of hrs on it?

If my trees ever grow tall enough I may consider one of those B3030's w/conditioned cab, that would be nice :D

i was just doing some shopping today, i really need the bigger unit. i have mine for sale for 13,200 with 359 hours removeable tooth bar and grade blade included. the trade in value im sure is due to the dealer wanting to make 2 to 4 k on the resale of the unit. i am not going to give it up to them yet for that price. i have not been very agressive with the sale of my bx, just put it out on craigslist. im only on payment #19 so its still under bucket to bucket warranty. I have had about 2 responses per week on the machine but no offers yet but then again spring has just began.

BTW I have been doing some b3030/7510 shopping here in WV and last week I was quoted $23,500 for a b3030. Woods FEL, Woods x-70 BH, Loaded r-4 Tires. The difference in pricing may be the Woods stuff. Dealer was using some factory rebates of some sort. I was also interested in if you considered the 7510 VS B3030. I like the extra weight and HP of the 3030, but it is about 4k-5K more that the 7510. I am planning on using the machine to do some grubbing, stump removal and various other things.

I ran a b7500 for six seasons before making the jump up to the b3030. Both are great machines. The 3030 is loaded with nice options if you can afford it, position control 3ph is really nice as is 23 hp at the pto. Good luck.

honestly i had not looked at the 7510 but i just looked at the specs on the web and it looks like its a real close match to my bx23 power wise. mine will never see a mower it will be used for dirt work, if the new b26 came with foldable rops i would be buying it. i need something compact and powerful, i guess i could buy the b26 and remove the roof and add foldable rops to it, hmmmmmm thats a thought

If you're not planning to mow then you could look at the JD and Case too. These are nice machines too and they are heavier than a Kubota (better for dirt work). A B26 could be a good option too. IMHO a B3030 for dirt work only is a bit too light for my taste. Don't get me wrong, a B3030 is a nice machine but for loader and backhoe work only, the heavier the tractor the better (and a TLB is even better because it's made exactly for that kind of work).

Sell the BX for $13K and get a good slightly used B21 for $15-20K or new B26 - but seems like overhead clearance is an issue. If its garage door clearance thats one aspect and easy to solve with a proper laminated header and frame. The modifications will cost you less $ and you will be better off in the long run having a 8'+ or 9' door clearance.

If its site work clearance (which is not usually the case as I can get my B21 into very tight spots) then get a small excavaor with a blade and keep the BX23. You can get a small excavator for $10-20K used.

amazing the deale thats 30 minutes away is going to deliver my b3030 tomorrow and i didnt even ask them to. The dealer that i bought my bx and zd321 never even offered to deliver and i asked them to on my bx and they said it would be 3-4 days before they could deliver it 3 miles away. Guess it pays to shop around
#1 got a better deal
#2 got a salesman not in overalls who wanted my business
#3 got the tractor a week sooner than told by either dealer
#4 helped the smaller guy in a podunk town do business
#5 im actually happy this time

ill have parting shots for you guys tomorrow and plan on running that b3030 for hours tomorrow
