BX23 Mid-PTO Cap/Cover

Does anyone use a cover for the mid PTO on BX23? I removed the MMM for the first time and noticed the PTO is unprotected. Rear PTO has a nice cap/cover. Dealer said they weren't aware of any covers available from Kubota. Any help is appreciated.

I wondered the same thing a couple years ago when I got my B2910.

It seems that covers for mid PTOs are not common. Best recommendation when I asked was to put some grease on it to protect it from surface rust, if that is a concern to you.

Apparently there is no cover because it is tucked up out of the way and it is unlikely that one would get something tangled in it...

My goal is to make one at least that nice for my BX...

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your replies. I was able to cover the Mid-PTO with the corner cut from a plastic shopping bag secured by none other than duct-tape. kind of like a condom with suspenders. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Kind of crude fix but it seems to keep it safe. Practice safe Tractoring. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
