Hi,
I just got a like new 2750D snowblower off of Craigslist. Can someone tell me the correct parts that I will need to attach the snowblower to my BX23? I know one is the quick Hitch but does anyone have the correct part numbers so I know what to ask for when I call my dealer?

Thank You!

for the BX23, you need a BX2751 quick hitch and a BX2752 mid PTO shaft.
I'm not familiar with the BX23, so not sure what else you'll need as far as hydraulics and controls.
I seem to remember that on some older BX models, the joystick stays with the FEL, not the tractor.

The BX22 was the one where the joystick stayed on the loader. They fixed that problem when the BX23 was announced. The joystick stays on the tractor when the loader is removed. You will also need the half shaft for the PTO that goes from the quick hitch to the blower. Hopefully that came with the blower. But if the PO also had a front broom, he may have kept the half shaft.

Thank you. Is the half shaft from the quick hitch to the blower the same shaft as the one from the rear PTO to the Grass Catcher? That would be to easy right? Thanks!

I guess I can't answer that. Hopefully some one else can. I do not have the bagger attachment to compare to the pto shaft for my front rotary broom. Did you get the entire PTO shaft with the blower or are you missing that piece?

Pncmathias,

If you go to messick's web site you can look up the various pto PN's for each item to see if they are the same. There are exploded views to help with identifying what's needed and pricing for you to make an informed decision.

When buying parts from Kubota make certain you get "whole goods" prices versus parts when available. Wholegoods is the pricing through sales and can be a good bit less when available.

Another source of information is to search for "Kubota Wholegoods". This document will have details on what all fits your tractor and what's need for the implements. I've found various years of this document available so you are likely to find one that has info about your BX23.

Good luck in your effort to get the snowblower operational.

There seems to be some confusion here. I have the blower and the sweeper and the PTO shaft on each is permanently mounted to the implement. It is square and connects to a half shaft on the front of the quick mount. There is an intermediate shaft on the quick hitch that comes in two lengths; a shorter version for the older BX (like your BX 23) and a longer version for the newer ones. There has been a lot of trading and selling of these shafts here on TBN.

Hope that helps. Joe
