BX23 heavy duty HST fan

If this is the case , I'll buy one just for stock !
You'll HAVE TO set up a PayPal account to get
the numbers of orders you want . Don't be
disappointed if you only sell a couple of hundred.
Not "that many" actually break .

I am thinking that the best way to sell these for me will be to list these on Evilbay with a buy it now and use the "if it fits it ships" one rate shipping price I have a paypal account already set up If anyone is interested let me know I have the four that are pictured at the beginning of this thread available I am really happy that this is getting such positive feedback

One Rate Shipping Overseas won't work too well .
When the easyfit-unit is ready , pm me
I reckon 100% of folk would go for the no-dismantle
unit.

How about looking at clearances under there and if there's space, making the fan a larger diameter or thicker front to back for more air flow?

PATENT IT!!!!

Its a much better design strength wise than what Kubota put in there from the factory.

A 2 part unit would be a way easier sell as nobody wants the huge labour to tear the tractor apart to change it.

You could easily get $50 for it due to the labour time savings.

Hooking up with Bro-tek or Bxpanded would be good as they are a known name with a web presence. I suppose you could set up your own website to sell and keep more of the profits. Buying Advertising here on TBN would pay off as most guys here are DIY'ers when it comes to service. This is your main market.

Heck, if it increases air flow and cooling efficiency, is more durable, AND is a snap to install over the existing fan hub, I may break my fins off on purpose and buy an extra for a backup just in case you go bust and disappear. ;)

Thank you for being so eager to help. This is why I started with the stock mounting setup I am 100% confident that my fan is MUCH more durable and moves as much if not more air than the stock one. I am going to see if I can sell the four I have now.
*And begin working on one that is split and can mount on most if not all of the bx tractors. Thank you for the interest so far and the words of encouragement.
* Way to go and good success.

I have had one mounted to my BX 23 all summer and in issues at all.
Can anyone tell me the diameter of the driveshaft for the BX 24 and BX 25 I am wondering if I can have a one size fits all 2 pc fan. Thanks to all who have replied so far I am encouraged to see that this has not been a waste of time and money.
A much needed product so Not a waste of money or time.

BTW, how much are you thinking of selling them for? TBN'ers gets discounts right? :D
I'd say 900 to 1500 bucks less than the cost of tearing down a BX is already discount enough.

The stock fan is under $10 but requires $900 in labor to replace. If you made a split one that required just an hour or so of labor that would make the fan a lot more valuable than $10. If it was me and I was facing $910 for a fan replacement I would pay $40 or $50 for a better fan. What does everybody else think? Am I high or too low?
Its worh that or more easly.

What do I think? I think your a fricking genus. How much is it worth? I don't know, that one is tough. Maybe $25 if you want to sell a lot of them, $50 if you want to make twice as much per unit.
Depends on dow desperate one is to save 900 to 1500 dollars on a tear down of a BX.

As a small business owner, I'll step right on up and tell you DO NOT partner with anyone! Why let someone else make money on your creative genius when they didn't do any of the work?? Doesn't make sense... America wasn't built that way!!

This is always a market for "niche" items, and you've hit one. Am willing to pass along some advice if you'd like, just hit me with a PM and we'll talk...
