I just finished the 100 hour service on my BX23 and adjusted the brakes by following the instructions in the owners manual. Now it feels as if the brakes are dragging all the time. Like most owners I've occasionally driven the tractor and forgotten to release the parking brake. With the parking brake off it now feels like it used to on those occasions when I accidentally drove with the brake on. With the new brake adjustment, the tractor stops immediately when you let of the HST peddle and it doesn't want to move at all if the parking brake is engaged. I'm sure that part is good and is probably how it is supposed to be but I don't like the fact that the brakes feel like they are dragging all the time.
I'm planning to back them back off until I find a setting that "feels" right. I'm just wondering what others have experienced with their brake adjustments or what advice anyone has to offer. Tks

I have over 185 hours now on my BX2200 and have yet to adjust the so called "parking brake". Personally I very rarely use it and for the most part I think that it is a pathetic excuse for a brake anyway....just my opinion.
