BX2200 Steering Problem...Solved...Update

While waiting for my dealer to receive and install the new steering cylinder, I tried to mow my front yard last evening. Well, the problem has gotten alot worse, I need approx. 3 turns on the steering wheel to regain control and still it is a hit and miss proposition. This is really a DANGEROUS condition.
Just a warning to all those having steering problems on the BX's. Be careful out there!!

Yes, I will be borrowing my Dad's faithful old Honda Lawn tractor to do the mowing until the BX is finally repaired.

Just an update: It has been 11 days since Kubota engineering diagnosed my steering cylinder problem and contacted my dealer to inform him of the solution and to have him order the hydraulic steering cylinder. As of today, the parts have not arrived. Don't know if my dealer is on the ball in ordering them or not and there is no way I can check.
Frustrating since grass waits for no one and just keeps growing!

Post the service bulletin # when you get your tractor fixed/back. It could be useful for other bxer's. Thanks

Dealer authorized a local repairman to fix mine under warranty, only about 19 hours on the tractor. Steering cylinder, I believe was the primary culprit.

Well the hydraulic cylinder finally arrived yesterday and my dealer made a service call at my home today to repair the BX. He was there about an hour and a half and told me the steering is finally fixed. Can't wait till I get home and test it myself.
